BCHockey Officiating Certification Clinic
Mandatory for all referees
- Date: Sept 20th
- Time: 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Location: Douglas College, 700 Royal Avenue, New Westminster[Map]
- All new and under 16 yr old referees that are registered are to report to Lecture Theater 1614 at Douglas Collage at 8:30 am on Saturday. Rooms for others will be posted when confirmed.
- Clinic Registration Process
- You will need your Hockey Canada ID number to register. This is NOT your PCAHA referee number from last year. Your Hockey Canada number is on your receipt you received when you registered on-line for hockey this season with BMHA. If you do not have that receipt please contact our registrar at registrar@burnabyminor.com and she will forward it to you."
- You will notice when you are going through the process to register you will be asked if you want to purchase the Insurance Premium for $20 - Only referees who are not registered to play hockey this season with BMHA will be required to pay this extra fee. Registered players already have this coverage built into their hockey registration fees.
Referee Refresher Clinic
- Date: Sept 16th
- Time: 7:30-8:30pm (Classroom); 8:45-10:15pm (On-Ice)
- Location: Classroom - TBA; Ice Component at Burnaby Lake Arena
- Who should attend: Experienced Officials with 3 or more years of refereeing experience
Supplemental Referee Clinic
- Date: Sept 23rd
- Time: 7:30-8:30pm (Classroom); 8:45-10:15pm (On-Ice)
- Location: Classroom - TBA; Ice Component at Burnaby Lake Arena
- Who should attend: All new and second year officials and any experienced officials unable to attend on the 16th.
